Mold-Masters taps William Barker as CEO

Hot runner specialist Mold-Masters Ltd. has named William (Bill) Barker as its new CEO.

Barker, who is 60, has spent over 20 years in the industrial manufacturing sector, most recently with Rexam PLC and Textron Inc.

Barker replaces Jonathon Fischer, who stepped down as president and CEO of the Georgetown, Ont.-based company in September.

Barker has served as served as president of Automotive Safety Products division of OEA, Inc., group director of Beverage Cans of Rexam PLC, president of the Commercial Solutions Group of Textron Fastening Systems, sector director of Rexam Beverage Can Americas, and most recently as president of Rexam Beverage Cans Americas.

“We are excited to have Bill join the Mold-Masters team”, Hamdi Conger, chairman of the board, said in a press statement. “Bill will add to the organization strong leadership and guidance and assist our strong global management team to achieve its objectives.”
