The association states that information in the labor survey helps moldmakers and molders with in-house tool shops to understand the labor market and retain employees.

50% of respondents utilize an 8hr. shift.

25% of respondents utilize a 10 hr. shift.

75% of companies do not rotate shifts.

Group life insurance is paid in full by 70% of respondents.

29% of firms have profit-sharing plans for their employees.

2nd year apprentices average $13.40/hr. in Ontario.
