PET gives glass-like benefits to cosmetics

Water clarity, brightness, sparkle, and chemical resistance are the characteristics of Elegante, Eastman’s new family of PET resins aimed at the cosmetics and personal care packaging market.

The material is easy to process for a broad range of container designs, and retains excellent brightness and clarity even in thick-walled containers. It can be processed by injection stretch blow molding or injection blow molding, on standard equipment.
