Italian presses come to North America

After years of experience in the footwear industry, Main Group is making its injection molding machines available for general purpose molding.

The SP series of vertical injection molding machines ranges from 66 to 220 tons; can have single or multiple injectors; and is capable of as many as four injections in the same cycle sequence.

The E series ranges from one to 32 stations for the injection of expanded EVA or thermoplastic polyolefin-type materials. The materials expand as much as 500 percent after the mold opens.

Main Group also provides the Dipol line for two-part liquid polyurethane molding. They are available with auto color change in the mixing head and two separate polyols for quick material changes.
