Fiberfil acquires DSM polypropylene business (January 01, 2006)

Evansville, Ind.-based Fiberfil Engineered Plastics Inc. and DSM Engineering Plastics Inc. — Americas, have reached a definitive agreement allowing Fiberfil to acquire the North American custom compounding polypropylene business of DSM.

As part of the acquisition, Fiberfil will also operate DSM’s Stony Creek, Ont.-based polypropylene compound production facility. The Stony Creek facility will operate under the Fiberfill Engineered Plastics Inc. name and will continue producing product under the Fiberfil trademark.
