Precise measurement for low flow applications

The new Optimass Series 3000 flowmeter from Krohne Inc. offers precise blending, dosing and batching applications, and is designed specifically to handle low flow applications.

Available in three sizes, the flowmeter is suitable for flow rates from 0.66 lbs./min up to 16.5 lbs./min (0.3 – 455 kg/h).

In addition to flow rates, the Series 3000 measures density, temperature and concentration. The device also incorporates secondary pressure containment with the option of a heating jacket, and includes wetted parts in stainless steel and Hastelloy.

Non-contact temperature transmitter

The SA-80T non-contact thermometer measures the surface temperature of stationary and moving objects, and can be used to check the temperature in processing/forming management in the plastics industry.

The transmitter gives a fast response four to 20 ma output for ranges of 0 – 200 or 0 – 400 C. The heavy-duty cylindrical stainless steel body measures 120 mm in length and 18 mm in diameter, with a water resistant IP67 rating.

The target distance to target diameter ratio is 10:1. Maximum ambient installation temperature is 70 C.
