Bekum America will debut the BM-406D at NPE. The machine is the company’s newest high-output, double-station blow molding machine. It is ideally suited for the high output production of smaller bottles, as well as larger articles up to 10 to 12 L in capacity.
The BM-406D includes larger clamping platen dimensions with greater closing forces. This allows for larger cavity centerlines, with closing forces sufficient for the production of bottles as well as canisters and technical parts. The machines also include linear mold-carriage movements via precision guide rails. This provides extremely fast carriage movements, shorter travel distances, improved longevity of the guidance system and lower energy consumption.
