Ranger Automation offers customers custom, end-of-arm tooling systems and fixtures for inserting graphic film or labels into injection molds or blow molds. A “double” EOAT system removes molded parts as well as inserts film in the same cycle. Custom equipment can place film or labels on flat or curved cavity surfaces. One key feature is a robot-controlled static charge system which puts a positive charge on the mold steel just prior to the placement of the film. The charge holds the film in place long enough for the mold to close.
