AMI’s ​Conductive Plastics 2018 takes place on March 20-21 at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center in Pittsburgh, PA.

Electronics are playing an increasingly important part in everyday life. The rapid growth in connected devices, expanding IoT communications infrastructure, accelerating device miniaturization, and fast developing electric vehicle technologies are all driving demand for plastics that offer improved shielding, static management and thermal performance.

Conductive Plastics is a high level two-day conference that will explore the design and manufacturing of electrically and/or thermally conductive plastic components and examine the latest additive technologies and compounding techniques. Expert speakers will address the challenges in formulating conductive compounds, as well as the critical influence of processing parameters on final part properties.

The fourth in AMI’s established international Conductive Plastics conference series, Conductive Plastics 2018 will be the essential meeting place for anyone working on the development and production of conductive compounds in North America, or those involved in the design and manufacture of products using such materials.
