Geoff Clarke, the managing director for the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) Inc.’s Centre for Materials and Manufacturing, is leaving the organization, the OCE announced.
Clarke played a leading role in such OCE inititives as the Emerging Materials Knowledge Network (EMK), as well as helping to foster strategic partnerships with business and government organizations. He has been with the OCE for the past six years.
Effective June 1, Bob Civak will serve as interim managing director of the Centre for Materials and Manufacturing until the organization selects a permanent successor.
Founded in 1987, the Toronto-based OCE promotes the economic development of Ontario through directed research, commercialization of technology and training for highly qualified personnel.
