Bolton, Ont.-based Husky Injection Moldings Systems Ltd., has chosen Comergent Technologies Inc.’s eBusiness System to automate its sales and order management to better serve its customers.
Comergent Configuration makes it easier for Husky’s sales personnel to fulfill complicated product orders through its order fulfillment process.
Prior to depolying the Comergent eBusiness System, Husky used a number of manual and automated systems for configuration and order management.
Plus, Comergent was able to integrate with Husky’s existing customer relationship management (CRM) system as well as its back-office programs for financials.
“Our goal is to significantly enhance the value we deliver to our customers throughout the Husky customer order experience, while significantly improving order interval and internal efficiencies,” Steve Lachowski, Husky’s vice-president of regional development, said. “Our requirements in selecting a new vendor for configuration and order management software solutions included both a proven track record in the advanced manufacturing industry, as well as the ability to manage complex product configurations and order management processes in an integrated vendor offering. Comergent met our criteria in all of these areas.”
