Economy and environment hot topics at resin conference

Last week, Canadian Plastics hosted the 13th annual Resin Outlook Conference in Mississauga, Ont., with over 90 industry personnel in attendance.

Attendees heard from 11 different speakers, with topics ranging from pricing trends for commodity resins to the emerging field of bioplastics.

Additionally, those in attendance had the opportunity to hear from an RBC economist, who discussed the recent shifts in the U.S. financial sector, and gave the conference a comprehensive economic forecast.
