Chemtura levies energy surcharge

Middlebury, Conn.-based Chemtura Corp. has established a US$0.02 per pound energy surcharge on sales of all chemical products sold globally.
According to the company, the surcharge is necessary to deal with the increasing energy-related costs affecting product manufacturing and transportation. This energy surcharge will be added as a separate line item on all invoices.
