Milacron appoints Ron Krisanda as new COO

Plastics machinery manufacturer Milacron LLC has named Ron Krisanda to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

According to Cincinnati, Ohio-based Milacron, Krisanda will be residing in the United Kingdom “to strategically link Milacron operations globally.”

Milacron said Krisanda will be responsible for manufacturing, engineering, technology, research and development, quality, continuous improvement, and environmental health and safety for Milacron’s global businesses.

Prior to joining Milacron, Krisanda was COO of Edwards Group Limited, a UK manufacturer of sophisticated vacuum pumps and abatement systems, a portfolio company of affiliates of CCMP Capital Advisors, LLC. In addition, Krisanda held senior management positions with Tyco International, including President of Tyco Fire & Security Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations, President of Tyco Safety Products, and VP of Operations for Tyco Plastics.
