Hot runner temperature control system supplier Gammaflux L.P. has reached a private label manufacturing agreement with Milacron LLC for Milacron to distribute the Gammaflux LEC and TTC controllers as auxiliary equipment options available with its line of injection molding machines.

“Gammaflux’s hot runner offering further enhances our auxiliary equipment portfolio and strengthens Milacron’s strategy of being the premier supplier of solutions for the plastics industry,” said Wayne Taylor, business manager with Batavia, Ohio-based Milacron’s Purchased Products Group.

In addition to using the stand-alone Gammaflux controllers for hot runner molding, Milacron is also planning to integrate the Gammaflux controls directly into their machine control panels. The Gammaflux control functions can be accessed and displayed directly on the Milacron machine’s human machine interface (HMI) or on a separate remote monitor. “Our TTC controls have a panel-mount option that allows them to be seamlessly integrated into the molding machine’s control panel,” said Mike Brostedt, director of market development with Sterling, Va.-based Gammaflux. “This can save valuable floor space by eliminating the need for a separate floor-standing control cabinet, and the molding machine interface can communicate directly with the TTC.”
