A 30-year-old woman is dead after a March 29 industrial accident at Woodbridge, Ont.-based blow molder CRS Plastics Ltd.

A 30-year-old woman is dead after a March 29 industrial accident at Woodbridge, Ont.-based blow molder CRS Plastics Ltd.

According to local news reports, the incident happened at around 6:00am.  

CRS Plastics molds high density polyethylene handleware bottles in sizes from two to 16 liters. Its key markets are agricultural, chemical, food, detergent, automotive, and pet supplies. The company was founded in 1984.

York Regional Police and the Ministry of Labour are investigating the accident, and have not yet confirmed how the woman died. News reports have said that the woman was pinned under a piece of machinery.

The factory was closed for the weekend after the accident.
