Charlie Crew, executive vice president of SABIC Innovative Plastics, is stepping down effective January 1, 2012, marking the end of more than 34 years with the company and its forerunner GE Plastics.
Crew will be replaced by Keith J. Smith, most recently the vice president for sourcing and logistics with DuPont Co. Prior to this, Smith was vice president and general manager, DuPont Engineering Polymers.
“He has been a valued partner and important source of advice during a very critical period of organizational change,” said Mohamed Al-Mady, CEO of parent company Saudi Basic Industries Corp., in a news release. “We wish Charlie the very best in the future.”
