Pittman new president of Bulk Molding Compounds

Steve Pittman has been appointed president of Chicago-based Bulk Molding Compounds Inc., the thermoset division of compounder Citadel Plastics Holdings Inc.

Pittman has previously worked for GE Plastics and Eastman Chemical Co.

“Steve brings a deep commercial background that will help us in driving strategic growth initiatives,” Citadel CEO Mike Huff said in a news release.

Bulk Molding Compounds manufactures and supplies glass reinforced and polyester thermoset compounds for the automotive, electrical, consumer appliance, power tool, conductive plastic, power management, corrosion, and electric motor industries in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. The company was founded in 1978.
