Austria-based extrusion equipment maker Battenfeld-Cincinnati has made some big changes to its organizational structure.

In the new structure, Gerold Schley is the company’s CEO, Michael von Cappeln is the new chief financial officer, Dr. Henning Stieglitz is the new chief technical officer, and Grant Flaharty is the new chief strategy officer.

Additionally, Battenfeld-Cincinnati’s production competence centres will be headed by Toni Bernards (China), Dirk Eikmeyer (Germany), Michael von Cappeln (Austria), and Danny Gamez (U.S.). Also, the global sales network will now operate according to three main regions: America, Europe/Africa/Near Middle East, and Asia.

“Thanks to the new structure, we are able to support our customers worldwide even better and to implement technical innovations faster,” CEO Gerold Schley said in a statement. “By global realignment of important areas such as Sales and Technology/R&D, we will continue to further develop and improve our solution competence on a global scale.”

“More and more customers have production plants in several countries, and more and more often on different continents as well,” Grant Flaharty added. “The new structure will make it much easier for us to implement global projects and thus offer our customers optimal package deals: from counseling and delivery of machines all the way to service and spare parts supply.”
