“Significant interest” showing for Plast-Ex 2011

December 21 marks the six-month countdown to the Plast-Ex 2011 trade show in Toronto – and interest is building, according to show sponsor UBM-Canon. 

Held from June 21 to 23 at the Toronto Congress Centre, the upcoming show heralds the introduction of UBM-Canon’s six show co-located events, with Plast-Ex as its cornerstone.

The five companion plastics industry shows are Packex, Design Manufacturing Canada, Automation Technology Expo Canada, Process Technology for Industry Canada, and Green Manufacturing Expo.

“Attendees and exhibitors alike now have six times the opportunities and reasons for participating in the event next year,” said Tom Sockett, event manager with Canon. “In the past, plastics industry professionals had to attend many trade shows to find all the solutions and resources they require; it’s now one-stop shopping and it’s all at Plast-Ex 2011.

Exhibitors have responded with enthusiasm to the upcoming Plast-Ex event, Sockett continued, with “a significant amount of the overall exhibit space already committed”.
