The Ontario BioAuto Council is holding its annual general meeting and conference on Thursday, September 24, in Cambridge, Ontario.
The event, to be staged at the Cambridge Hotel & Conference Centre, will include speakers from Iowa State University, the Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts in Japan, Cargill, and Ford.
Headquartered in Guelph, the Ontario BioAuto Council’s focus is biomaterials, such as flexible bio-based foams for car seats and woodfibre composites for automotive and construction applications. With a $5-million investment fund from the Government of Ontario, the council is designed to provide support for biomaterials ventures and commercialization.
