New president for Americhem

Custom color and additives maker Americhem Inc. has appointed John M. Deignan to the position of president.

“We’re pleased to welcome John’s experience and leadership to Americhem,” said Rick Juve, CEO. “In his new role, he will lead the day-to-day operations of the company and foster Americhem’s strategic relationships with customers. His background and strengths in a variety of commercial roles will serve as a solid foundation to assist Americhem in achieving its plans for global growth.”

Deignan most recently served as chief marketing officer for Diebold Inc., a banking and security services provider. During his 21-year career at Diebold, Deignan served in multiple leadership roles, including vice president of sales in North America, as well as managing director, Canada, and managing director, Australia.

Deignan will be based at Americhem’s headquarters in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
