As the result of what it calls “sound market development…as well as the positive assessment by experts about the country’s potential for further growth”, Austria-based machinery maker Wittmann Group now has representation in the small North African country of Morocco.
Wittmann is now represented in Morocco by Tangier, Morocco-based Smartindus.
“I am confident that with Smartindus we will establish our products in Morocco and make use of the opportunities this future growth market has to offer,” said Michael Wittmann, the Vienna-based company’s managing director.
According to Wittmann, three Smartindus associates are engaged full-time in selling Wittmann machinery products, and two additional associates are responsible for after-sales service on a part-time basis.
The Wittmann Group is represented in Canada by Wittmann Canada Inc., headquartered in Richmond Hill, Ont.
