Wittmann Battenfeld expands IMM training program
Wittmann Battenfeld has relocated an Austrian plastics processing expert to ramp up its injection molding training programs in the U.S.
The Vienna-based equipment supplier recently relocated Christian Glueck, technical center manager and trainer, from Wittmann Austria to the U.S. to handle increased training sessions at Wittmann Battenfeld’s Technical Center in Torrington, Conn.
Glueck has also conducted numerous training sessions at customer locations throughout the U.S., and recently conducted Wittmann Battenfeld’s first IMM training class on the West Coast, at its Technical Center in Corona, Calif.
“We have seen a fantastic amount of growth in our IMM base in the United States,” said Markus Klaus, IMM division manager at WIttmann Battenfeld. “By expanding our reach with training, and bringing in Christian, we are confident that we can service all of our customer’s IMM training needs beyond expectation.”
Wittmann Battenfeld operates 7 production facilities, 31 subsidiaries, and 24 agencies in 52 countries. Its Canadian subsidiary, Wittmann Canada, is headquartered in Richmond Hill, Ont.
