Plastics closures manufacturer Crealise Conditionnement has been purchased by Novembal SAS, the caps and closures business unit of Tetra Pak.

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Established in 1952, Rawdon, Que.-based Crealise is focused primarily on injection molding 55mm closures for 11- and 18-litre plastics bottles. The company, which employs approximately 60 workers, has now been renamed Novembal Canada.

Headquartered in Anse, France, Novembal SAS operates a network of business units across North America.

“In uniting Crealise’s North American bottled water market expertise with Novembal’s global caps and closures portfolio, we are able to offer our customers in the bottled water market more innovative and cost effective solutions,” Novembal’s managing director Lorenzo van Haelst said in a statement.
