Nissei expands into India

Japanese injection molding machine maker Nissei Plastic Industrial Co. Ltd. has established a new sales subsidiary in India.

The subsidiary, located in Gurgaon, on the outskirts of New Delhi, started operating on Nov. 1.

“Japanese companies, mainly automotive industries, have been expanding their businesses in the Indian market in recent years, and this trend is expected to grow,” the company said in a statement.

Nissei Plastic India is the 10th overseas sales subsidiary established by the firm. Other subsidiaries are located in the U.S., Mexico, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
