Fort Worth, Tex.-based National Door Industries is in the midst of a US$4 million expansion.

National Door Industries, a Fort Worth, Tex.-based manufacturer and distributor of garage door-related products, has expanded its manufacturing facilities, added capabilities and increased efficiencies with a capital expenditure of more than US$4 million dollars – including the installation of five Engel injection molding machines, ranging from 400 to 1,000 US tons, to provide additional capacity and capability for their growing business.

The new equipment – as well as the company’s existing Engel machines – is utilized to produce window frames as well as designer Stylecraft and Styleline window inserts for garage doors.

With the added capacities the new Engel equipment brings National Door, the company plans to continue expanding their current product lines, as there is a great opportunity in the industry, but also venture into custom molding.
