Extrusion blow molding machine maker Graham Engineering Corporation (GEC) has completed its integration of the American Kuhne and Welex machinery brands.

York, Pa.-based GEC acquired majority interest in extrusion equipment maker American Kuhne in October 2012, and in sheet extrusion equipment maker Welex in June 2013.

The consolidation involved moving and integrating the Welex manufacturing operations in Greenville, N.C., into the GEC operations in York. This process has also been completed.

According to GEC president and CEO David Schroeder, the first Welex line manufactured in York was shipped to a customer in late January.
