Engel to open technical centre in Mumbai, India

In a move to help meet what it calls “the rising demands on plastics processing companies in India”, injection molding maker Engel is opening a technical centre and seminar centre in Mumbai.

According to Austria-based Engel, the technical centre – situated near the Mumbai International Airport – will be used for machine demonstrations, customer trials, pre-production and running mold trials.

“The Indian market for injection molding is transforming beyond recognition”, said Jitendra Devlia, managing director of Engel Machinery India. “Issues like maximum product quality, long-term reproducibility, proper mold protection and set-up time optimization are becoming ever more important to our clients.”
