Toronto-based plastic product maker Dynaplas Ltd. has acquired machining firm Chilton Precision Inc., of Peterborough, Ont.
The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
“Adding Chilton’s expertise in precision machining deepens our company’s talent level in mold making and will make us more efficient in supplying the highest quality products to our customers,” said Greg Walton, Dynaplas’ president and CEO.
According to a Dynaplas statement, Chilton will continue to operate as a separate standalone business unit “and will look to expand both its capacity and capabilities”.
Dynaplas is a global plastics supplier with ‘black box’ design, product validation and testing capabilities, in-house tooling facilities, and injection molding machines ranging from 12 tons to 500 tons.
