Mold technology supplier DME Company has entered a strategic alliance with hot runner firm Plastic Engineering & Technical Services Inc. (PETS) to provide a complete package to improve processing in medical and high-volume consumer markets.

The first move under the alliance will be targeting molders in the medical and high-volume consumer markets with new engineering solutions, Dave Lawrence, president of Madison Heights, Mich.-based DME Company, with the first hot runner nozzles, sequence controllers and temperature controllers to be released next month.

“The plastics processing expertise of PETS. and the global reach of DME will serve as a great resource to our customers, ” Lawrence said. “DME can better serve customers in Asia directly from the PETS manufacturing facility in southeast China, in addition to the support from the PETS global headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan.”
