The Canadian Association of MoldMakers (CAMM) is hosting a free breakfast seminar for moldmakers looking to explore business opportunities in several South American countries.

Set for Wednesday, May 16, the event – featuring professionals from KPMG and Export Development Canada – will target building links between Canadian shops and businesses in Columbia, Argentina, and Brazil.

The seminar will take place at the Giovanni Caboto Club in Windsor, Ont.

“It’s no secret that globalization is creating opportunities for new business in, and from, high growth emerging markets,” CAMM said. “While companies of all sizes are increasingly recognizing the enormous potential of doing business in South America, executives often struggle with navigating the myriad and complex challenges these markets present.”

Key considerations the meeting will target include identifying the key considerations for Canadian companies exploring business opportunities in South America, in particular the opportunities and common challenges for foreign investors; and accessing the financial and risk management support available to help Canadian businesses expand into the international market.
