National Plastics is a thermoform manufacturer focused on clamshell packaging and clamshell stocking programs.

Rigid plastic packaging supplier VisiPak has purchased National Plastics Inc., a thermoform manufacturer focused on clamshell packaging and clamshell stocking programs.

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

National Plastics is headquartered in St. Louis, Mo.; VisiPak is based out of Fenton, Mo. Both manufacturers produce thermoformed blisters and trays, and production will continue at both facilities as each location will remain in operation.

VisiPak will now have three domestic manufacturing locations in the St. Louis, Mo. area and one in Carlstadt, N.J. VisiPak also has manufacturing capabilities in the United Kingdom, China, and Australia.

Through this acquisition, we expect to accelerate our growth efforts and expand our presence as one of the largest plastic packaging manufacturers in North America.”
