Germany-based packaging machinery manufacturer Kiefel GmbH has announced a change in management, with industry veteran Matthias Sieverding succeeding Thomas Halletz as CEO.
Sieverding has more than 25 years of experience in the international plastics and mechanical engineering industries, most recently serving as CEO/president of the Brückner Group’s USA platform company, Kiefel’s parent company. Prior to that, he held leadership positions including in the extrusion division of KraussMaffei and Poeppelmann Plastics.
In a Sept. 3 news release, Kiefel officials said that under Sieverding it plans to expand its global presence and secure market leadership through a consistent customer focus.
Kiefel, based in Freilassing, Germany, is a member of the Brückner Group, and manufactures thermoforming and joining technology.
