Messe Düsseldorf creates “interpack alliance” trade show brand
The new umbrella brand covers all of Messe Düsseldorf’s processing and packaging trade fairs.
Trade show organizer and fairground owner Messe Düsseldorf has reorganized all of its international processing and packaging events under the new label of “interpack alliance”.
Exhibitors and visitors will recognize these trade fairs by the umbrella logo which has been designed to echo that of interpack. Plans are also underway to align the visual appearance of the individual events to the style and colours of interpack.
Besides the flagship interpack trade show itself, the interpack alliance includes Upakovka (Moscow), FoodPex (Shanghai), ChinaPharm (Shanghai), BulkPex (Shanghai), PacPro Asia (Shanghai), PackTech India/FoodPex India (Mumbai), Components (Düsseldorf), Food Processing & Packaging Exposyum Kenya (Nairobi), IndoPack (Jakarta), and Process Expo (Chicago). The four Chinese trade fairs take place every two years in a combined event known as Shanghai World of Packaging.
“The establishment of interpack alliance as the umbrella brand was a logical step underlining our unified strategy,” said Bernd Jablonowski, global portfolio director at Messe Düsseldorf for the processing and packaging sector. “It stands for our international expertise in the packaging sector and related process industries while at the same time communicating the leading role of interpack.”
The interpack alliance is intended to address the target groups of food, beverages, confectionery and baked goods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, non-food consumer goods and industrial goods in key emerging markets.
The interpack show itself is one of the world’s premier packaging sector trade shows. It runs May 4-10, 2017 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.
