Belgian nylon maker Domo Chemicals has purchased Italian chemicals company CFP Flexible Packaging.

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Talks between Domo and CFP’s owner — UK private equity group Bridgepoint — were unveiled in April.

Bridgepoint acquired the Italian firm in 2002 for EUR 120 million.

Headquartered in Milan, CFP employs 100 staff and produces speciality films for the flexible packaging industry.

Domo Chemicals, which generated EUR 850 million in revenue last year with 725 staff, also owns Italy-based Aquafil Engineered Plastics, which it acquired in the summer of 2013.
