Tooling manufacturer Emuge Corporation is partnering with Open Mind Technologies AG, a developer of CAM/CAD software solutions, to supply high productivity machining solutions for the North American market.
The formal partnership follows several years in which the two firms, both headquartered in Germany, have collaborated unofficially.
“Emuge and Open Mind have enjoyed a long, successful synergy, developing and providing cutting edge machining solutions for manufacturers throughout the world,” said Emuge president Bob Hellinger. “This formally reinforces our commitment with OPEN MIND to provide the most advanced technology and machining productivity for our customers in North America.”

Emuge and Open Mind are planning upcoming training and seminar events for 2017. Customers will be notified and information on events will also be posted on their respective websites.
Emuge’s U.S. and Canadian headquarters is located in West Boylston, Mass. Open Mind is headquartered in Wessling, Germany, and has its U.S. location in Needham, Mass.; the firm’s Canadian location in is Blainville, Que.
