U.S.-based color masterbatches and custom compounds supplier O’Neil Color & Compounding has named Doug Borgsdorf as its new president.

Borgsdorf replaces outgoing president Mark Bruner, a 38-year veteran of the plastics industry and O’Neil’s president since 2005.

Borgsdorf was previously president of Plastics Color Corporation and vice president of business development for PMC Global Inc. He now assumes duties as the business unit director of O’Neil and corrugated plastic packaging supplier Woodruff, both of which are subsidiaries of sheet supplier Primex Plastics Corporation.

Bruner started his career in plastics as a sales representative for Shell Chemical in 1976 handling polystyrene and polypropylene customers in the mid-west.
