Arsenal Capital acquires Carolina Color and Breen Color Concentrates

Carolina Color of Salisbury, N.C., and Lambertville, N.J.-based Breen make color concentrates for a wide range of industries. The two firms operate a total of five plants in the U.S.

In a bid to establish what it calls “a leading specialty color and additive concentrate supplier,” private equity firm Arsenal Capital Partners has acquired materials suppliers Carolina Color Corp. and Breen Color Concentrates LLC.

The terms of the deals have not been disclosed.

Carolina Color of Salisbury, N.C., and Lambertville, N.J.-based Breen make color concentrates for a wide range of industries. The two firms operate a total of five plants in the U.S.

Carolina Color supplies custom color concentrates for the plastics industry, including its G2 and G3 product lines. Breen supplies custom color concentrates for the plastics industry with a focus on serving the wire & cable, packaging, and consumer end markets.
