Ampacet launches new colour production line in Luxembourg
The new line will also create a minimum of six new jobs; Ampacet Europe currently employs 570 people, including 170 in Luxembourg.
North America-based masterbatch supplier Ampacet Corp. has opened a new colour production line in Dudelange, Luxembourg.
In 2013, Ampacet invested in a new facility in Dudelange that includes a state-of-the-art research and development laboratory, a design and ideation centre, and one of the company’s largest white masterbatch lines.
“Our customers are always looking for ways to reduce lead times across the board,” said Marcello Bergamo, Ampacet’s managing director for Europe. “Our goal is to deliver our products as quickly and efficiently as possible while maintaining unsurpassed quality.”
The new line will also create a minimum of six new jobs; Ampacet Europe currently employs 570 people, including 170 in Dudelange.
Headquartered in Tarrytown, N.Y., Ampacet employs more than 2,000 people worldwide and operates 24 manufacturing sites located in 17 countries. The company’s Canadian office is located in Brampton, Ont.
