BASF is establishing best-in-class standard grade of Terluran ABS. The “world grade” ensures customers are getting the same high-performance and quality material from BASF plants in North America, Europe and the Far East. The Terluran ABS injection molding and extrusion resins provide superior consistency from lot to lot, a brighter, whiter resin, and easier colorability. In addition, the grades have high gloss, excellent surface quality, improved chemical resistance and very good resistance to stress whitening. Five new world grades of Terluran are introduced.
Terluran ABS grades currently are used to mold telephone housings, office equipment, vacuum cleaner housings, computer housings, appliance components as well as automotive exterior components, instrument panel frames and thermoformed parts for recreation and industrial applications.
