Wentworth Nabs British Mold Shop

Solidifying its position in Europe, Wentworth Technologies Co. Ltd. (Mississauga, Ont.) has purchased Orian Engineering Ltd. based in Mansfield Woodhouse, England. The acquisition, along with Wentworth’s earlier purchase of a Polish mold shop, now called Wentworth Sp.zo.o, will make Wentworth one of the largest blow mold producers in Europe. Wenthworth also owns six other shops in the U.S. and Canada. The purchase of Orian is in keeping with the company’s strategy to create a global network of companies capable of handling large jobs and making molds primarily for the packaging and automotive markets, according to Wentworth president and CEO Walter Kuskowski.
