Edward D. Segen & Co. announces the release of the new VTP-15 vertical trim press for roll-feed thermoforming. Occupying a minimum of floor space, the VTP-15 is easily moved to wherever it’s needed, and is well suited to secondary operations between the thermoformer and final press. The new press is computer controlled to simplify both set-up and the operator interface and will run either matched metal or knife tooling. Cycling at up to 120 strokes per minute, the press will deliver 15 tons of cutting force with a four-inch stroke. The VTP-15 has a trimming area of 12 in. by 30 in. and can take a web width up to 36 in.
