With larger and larger molds being used in industries such as automotive manufacturing, Engel has developed a massive 62-in. rotary table for its 200-ton vertical clamp insert molding machines. The large table was originally developed for an automotive headlight application, and is now an option on all 200-ton vertical machines.
In addition, the machine’s clamp height was extended to accommodate larger molds. An optional rotary coupling at the table’s centre simplifies the supply of services to the mold. Proportionally controlled hydraulics ensure fast table movement and precise positioning.
