A satellite videoconference titled High Performance Flexo: Printing with a Cleaner, Greener Image will be broadcast in Toronto and Montreal on April 27, 9:30 a.m. to noon. The program will explore environmental management issues, including air emissions and hazardous wastes. Viewers will be introduced to issues that should be considered in selection and management of solvents, and see how several companies have drastically reduced their emissions and hazardous wastes.
The Toronto site is Environment Canada’s office at 2905 Dufferin St, Downsview. The Montreal session will be held at the TQF studios, 405 Ogilvie Ave., Montreal.
The program is produced by the University of Wisconsin on behalf of several U.S. agencies, and is presented in Canada with the assistance of the host organizations and the Canadian Plastics Industry Association.
