The small floor-space requirements of Batttenfeld’s HM two-platen injection molding machines defies both crowded shop floors and low ceiling heights. The machines have telescoping tiebars to easily accept larger tooling even if space above or around the machine is constricted.
The HM units are the smallest machines in their clamp force categories. “The unique space-saving design of our new two-platen machines makes it possible for molders to expand their plant capacity without knocking down walls,” says Thomas Lenz, president of Battenfeld of America.
There is sufficient space within the machine’s protective enclosure for a robot, integral conveyors and controls.
