Instron’s instrumented impact tester, the Dynatup 9250, was on display at Plast-Ex. It offers complete computer control and impact velocities up to 22 m/s for the most rigorous impact testing in quality control and R&D.

Unlike most testers, the entire impact event can be captured, plotted and analyzed to determine important data, such as the ductile-to-brittle transition point.

Instron states the Dynatup 9250 is a robust machine designed to test materials in extreme temperatures and harsh environments.
