Testing: Automatic online color control

X-Rite’s TeleFlash non-contact spectrophotometers provide quality assurance professionals with automatic online color measurement of products manufactured on a running production line or in a laboratory setting. The system, made by Germany-based Optronik GmbH, which X-Rite acquired last year, generates continuous color quality reporting, with monitor screens displaying deviations of color quality. Following the measurement of each product batch, color measurement data is either stored and compiled into a printed report, or processed for automatic network transmission.

Modular melt indexer can be upgraded

Tinius Olsen’s Modular MP600 melt indexer provides a highly functional basic unit and several optional features that expand the MP600’s capabilties. The instrument can be programmed to store up to 25 sets of test parameters, with an operational range up to 450C. It comes with a simple user interface combining high visibility, vacuum fluorescent display and durable membrane keypad. Standard equipment includes all operating tools, piston rod and orifices.
