Athena’s Series C temperature controllers include four models that may be ordered for network applications, including the Modbus messaging protocol. With an optional adapter, these models can communicate with other components of a DeviceNet control network.
RS-232, RS-485, SPI and Engel/Arburg communications protocols are also options.
Each controller model is microprocessor-controlled and features autotuning as well as full PID functionality to provide accurate, closed-loop, single-channel temperature control.
