Omron displayed its full range of automation solutions, including its CX automation software, vision, motion control and safety products. Orange says the show demonstrates Omron’s commitment to serving the Quebec market.

In a further diversification of its product range, Wittman Robot Systems GmbH has purchased CMB, a manufacturer of granulators based in France. CMB, founded in 1976, makes a wide range of smaller press-side augers and mid-size granulators, as well as supplying a variety of shredders and recycling equipment. In Canada, the CMB line of equipment will be available through Nucon Systems Inc., which was purchased by Wittman last year.
